Well it's official. I will be doing a solo trek across the Himalayas for 20 days. I bought my permits today and leave early tomorrow morning. I feel excited and terrified.

Well I’ve arrived, but not without incident. Both my credit and debit cards have been declined. After 35 minutes on the phone to my bank the cards still don’t work.
